Setting up Rating Categories
Here we will show you how to setup your rating categories.
Login to the dashboard of your WordPress site
Here you will see "Review Site" in the left sidebar (1). Click on that to open the "General Settings" page.
Now select "Rating Categories"
Once in "General Settings", you can click on "Rating Categories" (1).
This is the "Rating Categories" page
This page displays the current Rating Categories, and lets you make and save changes.
Add a new category
Adding a new category is simple - type your new category into the "Add a Category" box (1), then click on the "Save Settings" button (2). Your new category will then be shown with the list of other categories at the top of the page. To apply these changes to existing posts, see the "Bulk Apply Rating Categories" step below.
Removing categories
While you have the option of deleting categories at any stage, extreme caution should be applied. We only recomend that this function be used if necessary, during initial setup of your site. Please read the note of caution on this Rating Categories page. To apply any changes made, to existing posts, see the "Bulk Apply Rating Categories" step below.
Bulk Apply Rating Categories
Once you have made changes to the rating categories, you may wish to apply these new rating categories to existing posts. Just choose which rating categories (1) you would like to apply, then choose which post categories (2) you would like to apply these changes to. Now proceed to setting up your comparison tables.
