Use WordPress to upload the themes from your computer
Here we will show you how to upload the themes to your website using inbuilt functions in WordPress.
Login to the dashboard of your WordPress site
Here you will see "Appearance" in the left sidebar (1). Click on that and other options will open.
You will see the themes that are installed on your website, and other options on the sidebar
Now we need to click on the "Add New Themes" option (1).
You are now asked to find the theme on your computer
Click on "Browse" (1), and a navigation window will open on your computer.
Find the folder where you unzipped your original download
This time you will need to double click on the "zips" folder (1). WordPress will only upload a theme which is zipped in its own folder.
Inside the "zips" folder, you will find the themes folders that WordPress needs
Select one of the zipped theme folders (1) with a single click, and then click the "Open" button (2).
We are now ready to let WordPress install our theme
The address of our theme folder on our computer will now appear in this box (1). Click the "Install Now" button (2), and wait while WordPress installs our theme. You can now proceed to selecting and activating your theme.
